I have been jonesing for a reread of SLOPPY FIRSTS by Megan McCafferty, the first book in the Jessica Darling series. Since it's such an awesome read, I decided it need to be shared! So today's giveaway is for...
Jessica Darling is one of my favorite female leads and I hope everyone else enjoys reading about her as much as I do! It's definitely a series that you can read and reread :0)
hum i would say the day when during break i went to help the priest and the congregation in the garden. ( catholic school and the congregation still lived there but there wasn't young men so i felt they needed some help and since i love the garden ^^;;)
My favorite memories are the hiking :) We usually went to the hills with my best friends, put up a tent, and just spent the whole night on talking while sitting around the fire :) It was great :D
my favorite memory from high school was our trip to swim with the manatees. we didn't actually see any manatees, but the ride down there and back and time hanging out with friends while there was worth going all that way for nothing : )
I'm not sure I have a FAVORITE...I loved high school. I was really involved in band and I had the best band teacher and band family. I think that without it, I'd have hated high school.
I barely remember high school. Probably graduating a year early, which I recommend for everyone. My sister graduated 1/2 year early. She worked, I was an exchange student.
My favourite memory from high school was Spirit Week. We missed a lot of classes to go to the gym and watch the different grades compete in a whole bunch of activities.
I have about two months left at high school, and I have to say I can't wait to leave and come back as a Sixth Former (perks include actually being able to leave the building, no uniform, choosing your 4 favourite lessons and only continuing them etc.)
So. My favourite memory so far? Probably the school games last year, I suck at sports but me and my friends formed a football team for the girl's contest and it was a vicious game... I fell over, my friend twisted her ankle and I'm pretty sure the marks on my friends arms were scratch marks. Still, it was an AMAZING day!
My favourite memory from high school is probably all of my Senior year - I was head editor of my paper, taking all classes I loved (with the exception of AP Calc!) and just enjoying it all. It was the longest I'd ever lived in one place, so I was so in love with the idea of having years-long best friends. Notably though was Senior week that led up to Prom; it was a ton of activities that let us hang out and sign yearbooks, and then my Prom was awesome because I went with only friends and my date was a friend so none of those funky pressures were there.
Hmmm, I loved high school so I have a ton of great ones! I think one of my favorite was graduation night, staying up all night with friends and watching the sun rise. Thanks for the giveaway!
My Favorite memory from highschool is when I had to pick up my sketch book in front of the guy I had a crush on because my friends dropped my sketch book in front of him >////<
I never was at a highschool since I´m from Germany , but at other schools of course. What I really enjoyed was a trip to Prag in the last year of middle school and the trip to the Toskana during the senior grades.
Thanks so much for the giveaway and for making it open worldwide :)
favorite memory.. is definitely the spontaneous crazy stuff we used to do in class. I was in a segregated school, and we didn't rotate classes, so we were in one class. On the days we would bring a video camera and turn the class into a club.. good old days <3
I went to high school in North Carolina where college basketball is big, and during March Madness school basically just stopped for a couple of days. All the TVs in the classrooms and the cafeteria were turned to the games, so we basically had a free day to just hang out and talk (or do "group work"-yeah, that happened [sarc])while the teachers and some of the students watched TV. Those were good days :)
My favorite memory from high school is painting a mural with my best friend. It's still on the walls of my high school building and even though we were so frustrated trying to do it at the time, we had a blast. The memories are the best.
Sophomore track season. Not only was it where I met my now-husband, it was also just plain fun. I hung out with seniors which made me feel super cool :P I also went to state in the hurdles :D
I just loved hanging out with my friends during breaks or trying to figure out ways to not bored in class. lol I used to write down stupid things the teachers said.
My favourite high school memories are of all the pranks we used to pull on teachers and fellow students. I also miss the structured environment of school. Life seems so chaotic and out-of-control outside of school. Oh well! I guess that's what growing up is all about:)
My favorite high school memory was hanging out with my friends and classmates at the hallways or classrooms after classes. :P
