Chelsea Cameron's For Real features one of my absolute favorite tropes in fiction, the fake relationship, and I loved every minute of it. I mostly hated her friends, they were basically the worst kind of friends a girl could have, but Jett, and even Javier, totally made up for them. Shannon was a bit of a pushover, and definitely let the way her friends treated her go on way too long, but if she hadn't let them treat her the way she did, she probably never would have ended up in her situation with Jett. I guess that means I can't hate her friends completely, because I love Jett. He was such a sweet guy and totally hot with his tattoos and mohawk.

 

 

The evolution of Shannon and Jett's "fake" relationship was absolutely adorable and there was all kinds of delicious tension between the two of them. There was a somewhat predictable, but still cute, twist toward the end, but it's predictability didn't take away from the story for me. I really enjoyed this couple and definitely recommend reading their story. I don't know if Chelsea is planning on writing another book in this world, but I wouldn't mind reading Javier's story. He turned out to be quite the awesome dude.
