You want me to chose a favorite? Contemporary is my favorite genre. So hard. Sarah Dessen is my favorite author, and really it depends on the day which my favorite book of her is. One day it is This Lullaby and then the Next it is The Truth About Forever. And someone mentioned Anna and the French Kiss. I want to toss that one in for good measure, because I just can't stop re-reading it. And I agree with Sana, every single one of these books is on my TBR list.
