Stacking the Shelves (14) - Contemps Rule This Week :0)

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and was inspired by The Story Siren's In My Mailbox posts.

Got some exciting books from a trade this week and I might have bought one...Oh, and Incarnate Dragon says hello :0)

For Review:

Ask the Passengers by A.S. King
*I'm really excited to read this one. It sounds really unique and I've only heard wonderful things about A.S. King's books.*
Just One Day by Gayle Forman
*I am over the moon excited for this book! I'm a Gayle Forman fan for life and I can't wait to dive into this one!*
Hooked by Liz Fichera
*This one sounds super awesome and Liz is so sweet. It seems I'm all about the contemps this week.*
Blaze by Laurie Boyle Crompton
*This one sounds so cool and Sourcebooks books always seem to be a win with me!*
V is for Virgin by Kelly Oram
*Kelly's debut Being Jamie Baker is one of the first ebooks I ever read and it ranks in my top reads, to this day. I'm super excited for this one!*

Bought:

*I've heard really good things about this one and I've been trying to broaden my MG horizons!*

Traded:

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
*I don't know what to expect going into this one, but I'm super excited to start it.*
Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel
*Admittedly, I have the first in this series and have yet to read it, but I'm looking forward to getting into both of these.*
Rift by Andrea Cremer
*I was unsure about this, as I am usually wary of prequel series, but people keep telling me it's awesome, so here goes.*
Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff
*It has a creature called a Thunder Tiger. I'm sold.*
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
*I'm really intrigued by this one and I love the illustrations.*

And of course I had to buy the adorable plush Gandalf, because he's Gandalf and adorable! Plus I snagged that cute giraffe balloon animal figurine. I'm hoping for a unicorn one next!

*Thanks Penguin, Little Brown, Sourcebooks, Harlequin, Kelly Oram, Edelweiss, and NetGalley!*

  1. I just finished Ask the Passengers the other day and it's absolutely incredible. I hope you love it! Dearly, Departed is really good, as well. Hope you enjoy both Dearly, Departed and Dearly, Beloved!

    Happy Reading!

  2. Well I can honestly say my TBR pile is hating you right now! Payback? Me thinks so! I think Hooked sounds adorable and I have yet to read Gayle Forman but I believe that woman has enough positive reviews to convince me I will be a fan when I read her books! Enjoy all the awesome pretties you received this week :)
