I'll admit it, I judge books by their covers. I am more inclined to find out what a book is about if it has a really pretty cover and I know it's not fair, but that's just how it goes. Bright colors and pretty pictures call to me :0) SO...I wanted to compile a couple of the best covers I've seen for upcoming books, because why not share the pretty!?

This one didn't just get me with the cover, it also got me with the title. I am instantly intrigued when a book has a long title (this goes for songs, too) and this one also has the word catastrophic! Catastrophic is just a really good word.
While I liked the original cover for this book, this new cover is even prettier! It has an ethereal look to it and the title font even looks kind of floaty. As an added bonus, the story sounds crazy, good! This is definitely one for the bookshelf instead of the nookshelf :0)

"Arcadia Awakens" by Kai Meyer
*Release Date: February 14th, 2012*
The bright green snake on this one is what pulled me in. It's all exotic and intimidating. And the description talks about mafia's and mortal enemies, which I love. I'm still unclear where and if the snake fits in, but I will definitely be reading it to find out.
I also really like that everything is really dark and shadowy on the cover, except the snake and the title. The bright green draws the eye, but the shadows give it some mystery. Very pretty, indeed!
