I didn't actually throw this one across the room, because I was reading it on my nook, but boy did I wish I could. The story was completely implausible and totally infuriating. What kind of person sees their best friend getting severely abused on an extremely regular basis, but doesn't do anything other than help her patch herself up or get their doctor dad to do stitches while making excuses for the wounds? The story was so unbelievable and the characters were nowhere close to relatable. Thinking about this book now, kind of makes me mad all over again. This is a DNF that I wish I hadn't bothered with at all.
This is a really interesting book challenge!
