Waiting on Wednesday: Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted over at Breaking the Spine, that showcases our most wanted upcoming releases.
Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally
*Release Date: October 1st, 2012*

Publisher: Sourcebooks Fire

Parker Shelton pretty much has the perfect life. She’s on her way to becoming valedictorian at Hundred Oaks High, she’s made the all-star softball team, and she has plenty of friends. Then her mother’s scandal rocks their small town and suddenly no one will talk to her.

Now Parker wants a new life.

So she quits softball. Drops twenty pounds. And she figures why kiss one guy when she can kiss three? Or four. Why limit herself to high school boys when the majorly cute new baseball coach seems especially flirty?

But how far is too far before she loses herself completely?

I was actually going to wait and post this WoW a little later this month, but in honor of the cover reveal for Things I Can't Forget  , I thought I'd post it a little early. Catching Jordan  is one of my all time favorites, so Stealing Parker is on my most coveted list :0)

I don't know what it is about stories with sports in them, especially since I'm not really an athlete or sports lover, but I really like reading books that have characters who are. I also really like that Parker is having an identity crisis of sorts. It's always really compelling to read about a character who is living their life in the complete opposite direction of the person they once were, and I like following them as they find out who they are now. Besides, with Miranda at the helm, this book is bound to be nothing but amazing. And with the promise of seeing a little of Jordan and Henry again, I'm sold!

Want a peak at the awesome cover for Things I Can't Forget ? Here you go :0)

What are you guys waiting on this week?!?
